What network monitoring covers
When an office network fails, the first sign is usually a room full of people unable to work and a phone call asking whether the internet is down. Network Monitoring is designed to change that. Monitoring tools check each covered device and the internet connection continuously, and our team is alerted to outages and warning signs, such as a failing access point or a link dropping packets, during business hours.
Beyond alerts, the subscription covers the routine care networks rarely receive: firmware updates on a planned schedule, configuration backups so a failed firewall can be replaced quickly, and a single point of contact with your internet provider. Each site is priced separately, which keeps costs aligned with the number of offices you operate.

What counts as a site
One site
A physical location with its own internet connection and network equipment, such as an office, clinic, shop or warehouse.
Larger sites
Locations with more equipment than the standard site are quoted at a higher rate or as multiple sites.
Home workers
Home offices are not counted as sites; remote staff are supported through Managed IT Support.
Configuration and pricing basis
Choose the number of covered sites. At the proposed CAD 99 per site per month, two offices would be estimated at CAD 198 per month before tax. This figure is a proposal pending business approval and is confirmed in a written quotation.
Network Monitoring is a component of the Business and Advanced managed IT packages, where it is priced per office at the same rate. In the main pricing calculator it is added automatically when you enter your number of offices.
Onboarding a site
Equipment check
We confirm each device is manageable and record models and firmware.
Collector installation
A monitoring collector is installed and devices are added.
Baseline
We take configuration backups and agree maintenance windows.
Live monitoring
Alerts route to our help desk and monthly reporting starts.
Terms
Price and service terms are drafts pending business and legal approval and are shown in full before checkout. Monitoring does not prevent outages caused by your internet provider or power loss. Alert response occurs during the business hours set in your quotation. Taxes are calculated at checkout.
Frequently asked questions
Can you fix an internet outage?
We diagnose whether the fault is in your equipment or the provider’s, fix what is ours to fix and raise a fault with your provider. Repairs to their network are their responsibility.
Do you replace failed hardware?
Hardware is purchased separately. Configuration backups mean a replacement can be set up much faster once it arrives.
Our equipment is consumer-grade. Can it be monitored?
Often only partially. A Network Health Assessment will tell you what can be monitored and what we recommend replacing.
Is a storage unit or small branch a site?
Any location with its own internet connection and network equipment counts as a site. Very small locations can be discussed in your quotation.
