How Vancouver businesses use technology
Vancouver’s business community leans heavily on professional services. Law and accounting practices, architecture and design studios, consultancies, property managers and creative agencies fill office floors downtown, along the Broadway corridor and in neighbourhoods like Mount Pleasant and Yaletown. Their work is document-heavy, deadline-driven and increasingly done from a mix of office desks, home offices and client premises.
Many of these firms are not single-site. A Vancouver head office may sit alongside a branch on the North Shore, in Richmond or in the Fraser Valley, or teams in other provinces. Staff move between locations and expect the same files, printers and sign-in experience wherever they are. High downtown rents also mean smaller offices with shared building networks, hot desks and boardrooms that double as video-call studios.
That combination shapes what Vancouver clients usually need from us: a Microsoft 365 tenant that is genuinely secure for remote access, devices that can be shipped and enrolled without a technician visit, consistent configuration across offices, and clear documentation for a firm that may be one partner departure away from losing its IT knowledge.
Services Vancouver clients ask for most
Managed IT and help desk
One accountable support plan for staff, devices and accounts, with a ticket history that shows recurring issues across all your offices.
Microsoft 365 administration and security
Conditional Access, multifactor authentication, sharing controls and mailbox protection for firms whose client documents live in SharePoint, OneDrive and Teams.
Intune device management
Laptops shipped directly to staff and enrolled with Windows Autopilot, so a new hire in a home office or a satellite location is productive on day one.
Multi-office networking
Site-to-site connectivity, firewall management and consistent Wi-Fi across a Vancouver office and its branches.
How we deliver support in Vancouver
Vancouver is a service market for us, not an office location. We do not have a Vancouver address and you should not plan around walk-in service. Our nearest published contact address is in Burnaby, and that address is a point of contact rather than a promise of in-person support.
Most work for Vancouver clients is done remotely: help desk tickets, Microsoft 365 changes, device management through Intune, patching and monitoring. Where a task genuinely needs someone on site, such as a network cut-over or Wi-Fi survey, availability is confirmed for your address and written into the proposal before you rely on it. Coverage hours and response targets are stated in Pacific Time in the same document.

Frequently asked questions
Do you have an office in Vancouver?
No. Vancouver is a service market. Our nearest published contact address is in Burnaby, which is a contact point rather than a walk-in location. Most Vancouver support is delivered remotely.
Can you support our Vancouver office and our branches outside the city?
Yes. Remote support works the same across locations, and we design networking, device standards and Microsoft 365 policies to be consistent for every office in scope.
Our building provides shared internet. Can you still manage our network?
Usually, yes. We place your own firewall and network segment behind the building service so your devices are separated from other tenants, and coordinate with property management where needed.
Will someone come to our downtown office?
On-site visits are possible only where they are confirmed for your address and written into your proposal. Many tasks, including new laptop setup, are handled without a visit.
How quickly can we switch from our current provider?
Timing depends on your size and how cooperative the handover is. Discovery and a written scope come first, then a planned onboarding so nothing is dropped during the transition.
