Who we are
Podium Catchers is a Canadian managed IT services provider. Our customers are organizations of roughly 5 to 200 employees: owner-led firms, regional offices, clinics, construction companies, professional practices and online retailers. What they have in common is that technology is essential to their work, yet nobody on staff is paid to look after it full time.
We take on that responsibility under a written scope. Our job is to keep users productive, devices maintained, Microsoft 365 properly administered and security basics in place, and to tell you plainly what needs attention next and what it is likely to cost.
What we do
- Recurring managed IT support, including help desk, device management, networks and servers
- Microsoft 365 administration, migration, security configuration and backup
- Cybersecurity services such as endpoint protection, multifactor authentication, email security and awareness training
- Fixed-scope assessments of infrastructure, Microsoft 365 tenants, endpoints, backups and networks
- IT consulting, procurement guidance and technology lifecycle planning
What we deliberately leave to others
Being clear about our limits is part of being useful. When a request falls outside our focus, we say so and point you somewhere better suited.
AI agents and custom software
Our sister brand Mars Innovation Technology builds AI agents, process automation and custom applications. We will introduce you when that is what your project needs.
Enterprise cloud architecture
Large Azure, AWS or Google Cloud programs, landing zones and cloud governance go to our sister brand CloudArchitects.expert, which specializes in that scale of work.
Legal and compliance opinions
We help you run technology in a privacy-aware way, but questions about legal obligations should go to qualified legal or compliance advisers.
How we think about the work
Small and mid-sized organizations rarely need more technology. They need the technology they already pay for to be configured properly, maintained on schedule and documented so it does not depend on one person's memory. Our approach and our day-to-day working practices are described on their own pages, but the short version is this: scope it in writing, maintain it before it fails, record what we change, and review it with you regularly.
