What managed endpoint security means
Installing antivirus is easy; keeping it installed, current and correctly configured on every device, and noticing when it raises an alert, is where small businesses struggle. Agents get removed by an over-eager user, new laptops are never enrolled, and alert emails go to an inbox nobody reads.
Managed Endpoint Security closes those gaps for each covered device. We deploy the protection agent, apply a consistent policy, monitor that every device is reporting, and review alerts during your agreed business hours, taking the containment actions agreed in your runbook. Where your Microsoft 365 licences already include Microsoft Defender for Business, we use it; otherwise, the protection platform and its licence cost are confirmed in your quotation.

What counts as a covered device
Computers and servers
Each Windows or macOS computer and each Windows server with the agent installed counts as one device.
Mobile devices
Phones and tablets are counted only when protection is deployed to them; this is agreed in the quotation.
Minimum
The proposed minimum is 5 covered devices per organization.
Configuration and pricing basis
The quantity is the number of covered devices. At the proposed CAD 12 per device per month, 30 devices would be estimated at CAD 360 per month before tax. The figure is a proposal pending business approval and is confirmed in a written quotation.
The Endpoint Security Pricing Calculator lets you model devices on their own. This component is included at the same per-device rate in every managed IT package, so the package price is simply the sum of its parts.
Onboarding
Inventory
We confirm every device to be covered and any existing protection products.
Runbook
We agree which actions we may take automatically and who must approve the rest.
Deployment
Agents are deployed in waves, conflicting products are removed and the policy baseline is applied.
Monitoring
Business-hours alert review and monthly reporting begin.
Terms
Price and service terms are drafts pending business and legal approval and are shown in full before checkout. Endpoint protection reduces risk but cannot prevent every attack. Alert review occurs only during the business hours written into your quotation. Taxes are calculated at checkout.
Frequently asked questions
Do you monitor alerts overnight?
Standard coverage is business hours. Any extended arrangement must be written into your quotation and is not assumed.
We already have Microsoft 365 Business Premium. Do we pay twice?
No. Business Premium includes Defender for Business, so you pay only the management fee. The licence remains part of your Microsoft subscription.
What happens if an alert looks serious?
We follow the agreed runbook, which may include isolating the device and contacting your named approver. Broader incident response is quoted separately.
Do servers cost more?
In the proposed catalog, a server counts as one device at the same rate. Server workloads that need special policies are confirmed in the quotation.
Estimate protection for your devices
Use the endpoint security calculator for a proposed monthly figure, then confirm devices and platform in a written quotation.
